Historically, the lore and lives of mountain sherpas have been formed on the basis of servant leadership. Servant leaders provide effort, challenge, and comfort while performing their duties. Sherpas, by day, carry the supplies of their travelers while also navigating the trail and surveying what is ahead. They challenge the traveler to keep pace while modeling how the pace should be set and maintained. At night, the sherpa cooks, sings, and provides comfort to the weary traveler. From this model, Virtual Sherpa Services, LLC, provides the same servant leadership necessary to develop clients who confidently and competently use technology tools to manage, communicate, deliver, assess and reflect on the highest quality of 21st Century instruction.
